(July 16, 2023, 3:02 pm)The trails are great. It’s a huge forest just for a walk. There is a field for your dogs to run around on, as long as there isn’t a baseball game going on. I just wish there were even more people walking through them because my dogs are very sociable, with other dogs and people. (Watch out for snakes and bears!) have a good walk!

(February 18, 2021, 4:20 pm)Northeast Woods is a fantastic trial network for walkers, hikers, bikers & dogs off leash. The trails are well marked with most connecting to the main green line "Lazo Loop" which circles the entire park. If you think you may be lost, just walk up hill and you are sure to cross paths with "Lazo Loop".
If you have a dog and are looking for a great dog-off-leash park to get in a good run, North East Woods is fantastic for this.
The trails are also awesome for new mountain bikers with some easier technical sections and lots of faster flowing trails. The climb from the bottom to the top is also not too aggressive and most riders should be able to handle it. -

(February 24, 2019, 11:12 pm)Really nice trail system. Most of the trail is clearly marked, but sometimes you need to take a guess and double back if required. Lots of dogs off leash (which is allowed) so just be aware. Also good for bike trails. Several different exits/entrances. If you look on Google maps where a street goes up towards the forest there is usually an access point there. Parking varies.
