(February 17, 2024, 1:39 am)This was a really nice place to hang out and sauna away life’s stresses. Great ambiance, and having the propane fire pit was nice for taking a break and drinking some of their tea.
I wasn’t up to the cold plunges, but the shower went plenty cold enough to shock me. The bucket of eucalyptus water for making steam in the sauna was icing on the cake too! 👌 -

(February 16, 2024, 10:56 pm)We had an amazing experience at Island Saunas! We booked a private 2 hour session and it was perfect for a date afternoon. The spot itself is beautiful and smells like cedar, it’s immediately relaxing. The check in process was clear and easy. The sauna was so warm (the hottest I’ve ever been in!) and the water for the stones smelled amazing. The ice tubs were surprisingly my favourite part - the contrast of the hot sauna and the ice bath has a highly regulating effect on the nervous system, and I left feeling so relaxed and energized. We will absolutely be back again!

We visited this past Sunday, from Ontario after our ski trip turned to a surf & relax trip.
They were very responsive via email & was able to squeeze our party in super last minute.
We visited early in the morning & we’re met with the hottest sauna we have been in, and the coldest plunges we have plunged. The atmosphere was great, even had tea & water for us to stay hydrated. There is an outdoor shower to clean up in between every transition from hot to cold to keep the plunges clean.
All around, amazing experience. Will definitely be back -

(November 23, 2023, 5:13 am)Wow! Had such an incredible experience. We did a private session, and it was our first time here. Booking and check in were seamless and the ambiance is even better in person than it is in the photos! 10/10 recommend.
