(September 6, 2017, 8:13 pm)Nice place to daytrip to take the family or pay to stay in the wooded camp ground. The mosquitos were crazy blood thirsty this year and the water level was really high in the spring so the rocky beach was covered. Now the water is so low in September you have to be careful launching your boat as there is a large problematic drop off at the end during low water. People launch to the left side on the gravel beach when looking down the ramp at the lake(much safer launch). We use it as a place to stop boating and take the dogs for a walk.
