Dr. Derek Plausinis performed the Laterjet procedure on my left shoulder, after almost a dozen years of dislocations-more frequently in the recent past. He is an excellent surgeon, in my opinion. The surgery went without a hitch and three days following the procedure, I was pain free. I also did not experience any bruising. I was followed closely for almost 6 months and felt his care, overall, to be professional and competent.
After suffering for years with severe pain from arthritis Dr Plausinis performed total replacement of my right shoulder in November 2017. The pain relief was almost immediate. By following his post OP instructions I now am pain free and have full range of motion in that shoulder. So impressed.
Dr. Plausinis performed a total left shoulder replacement. I followed his instructions carefully and cannot be more pleased and satisfied with the results. I have no pain and almost full range of motion but I'm still slowly building strength. It has been six months since the operation.
Dr. Plausinis performed rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder 1 year ago. I did exactly what I was instructed to do and now have pain free full movement of my shoulder. It was a long healing process but was definitely worth having the surgery. I still do strengthing exercises every day and was playing golf , with some limitations, 7 months after surgery. The surgery was not really painful and I would recommend Dr. Plausinis to anyone needing this surgery
