(August 13, 2018, 8:39 pm)When we don’t have time to hike we head here. Lots of little trails and a separate play area. Typically quiet but the people I’ve run into here are friendly. Makes for a nice evening stroll.

(August 13, 2018, 4:26 am)Have been coming here for years. It's a big park and its easy to stay away from dogs that don't get along with yours. Most people are very nice and their dogs are well behaved. It can get a bit muddy when it rains. There is a bit of a slough by the fence near Old Vernon Road. Ample parking. Does get icy in winter.
