(September 29, 2023, 7:26 pm)We stopped here as we really enjoy the BC Parks sites as they are basic, but affordable ($21). Each woodland pitch is private and has the usual picnic table and firepit (wood purchased on site). It has pit loos dotted around the site, which were well stocked. It closes for the season in a few days time and there was plenty of space. There was loads of small wildlife around and we saw our first Pileated Woodpecker. The thing which amazed us was the wide array of mushrooms which were stunning. Great site and with 2 gas stations, a fab soap store and a just closed ice cream store make for a great visit a little earlier in the year too.

(September 15, 2023, 3:56 pm)Beautiful area but if you are trying to sleep get ear plugs. When it not the rumbling of cars or nature's sweet but loud sounds then its the train. And when you think you finally get to sleep here comes another make sure your awake train. Loud is not the word.

(July 30, 2023, 7:20 pm)Yahk Provincial Park is a great campground! Online reservations are required. I've you get there, you'll have easy access to campground toilets (vaulted toilets, no sinks, bring your own toilet paper), a picnic bench, camp fire pit, and a communal water faucet with non-potable water which you can boil to drink. Easy access to the highway!

(September 4, 2021, 2:12 am)A nice clean campground- park ranger was really friendly - be prepared for a lot of bugs - I think they need to always be able to take credit cards. Typical provincial camp site with lots of trees and space between sites - there aren't any showers here and no power or water at the site but there is potable water available
