This is a lovely daycare. The staff are very kind and professional.
You don't beat Castleview. From the no-nonsense but compassionate manager, Carol, to the experienced and caring staff, it's why generations have sent their kids here. It's a Reggio approach, and both of our kids were set up for success as a result of their time here. Lots of variety from room-to-room for kids; cafe time where kids sit and learn manners while they eat; fabulous backyard; dance and art and Christmas concert. We don't live in Vic anymore, but it's one of the things we miss about the city.
This is the best child care program in Victoria. They practice the Reggio approach (like UBC daycare system) and the educators have been there for decades. They are all very nurturing and loving (Debbie, Bhamini, Carol, Lori) with thoughtful field trips and even a little cafe for kids to teach manners and encourage snack time. It also has a fabulous outdoor area. You would be lucky to have your child here (3-5 years).
