Brenda and the staff at ABC are the best! Everyone is really great with the kids, they go outside for walks/play every day, they’re one of the few daycares willing to accommodate allergies, the rates are very reasonable, and we are so lucky our child got a space here. Highly recommend!
We recently started at ABC after a horrible experience elsewhere. We appreciate Brenda Turner and her staff so much! Brenda has made a lifelong commitment to quality childcare, having been an Early Childhood Educator for over 30 years. She volunteers her time with various provincial organizations to improve childcare all over BC. The ECE of BC Code Of Ethics is clearly posted in the daycare, as are photos and credentials of all the staff. The staff introduce themselves and appear content with and engaged in their work. The children go outside every day - for a walk in the buggy, or to play in the yard, and each child’s individual needs are met. It’s not uncommon to find that one child is having a nap because he or she needed it. ABC Infant and Toddler Centre rarely closes - in the case of snow, they will only close if buses aren’t running. You can view their licensing reports online and see that they have had very few issues over a long history. We hope to stay until our daughter is ready for kindergarten! Thank you, ABC!
