10 mooring buoys ($14.00 cdn/night)
Pit toilets.
Abundant marine life. Seals, bald eagles, gulls and deer can be seen.
We encountered a small pod of humpback whales as we approached.
Local sportfishers troll for salmon just east of here.
Can only be reached by boat.
A long finger of rock projecting in a generally northerly direction.from the island must be avoided to safely enter the anchorage. Consult a proper marine chart and double check where your navigation device routes you or your vessel could go hard aground. -

(May 17, 2018, 3:43 pm)Pleasant Anchorage, but come out of prime season. There are limited mooring halls and minimal Anchorage due to shallow depths.

(May 15, 2016, 2:30 pm)A remote island in southern BC gives you the feeling that you have been removed from society. A great perimeter trail along the ocean and sand beach and camping make this island an excellent destination.
