(November 8, 2018, 3:04 pm)This is the hidden gem on the opposite side of the sooke river potholes, so usually only locals come here. Awesome area to hang out with the family. Rocky beach, super shallow water, and the trail goes 5km up all the way to the sooke potholes as well (if you wanted). Much safer and easier with kids around the water, no drop offs in the water. Most of the time we just walk up along the path with the kids and dogs and end up skipping rocks on the water
