Great private experience and all the extras you need. I love the beach with all the free equipment and floating trampoline slide.

60s era resort, casual and comfy, friendly helpful staff, variety of amenities and activities. Would have enjoyed a working hot tub, but understand why they're not taking on the expense of refurbishing the pool with that lovely lake right there. Love that the beach is raked every morning!

Stayed in Cabin 7. Second time we've stayed there. Cabins are individually owned. Everything you need inside. Resort owners are awesome. Paddleboards to rent, but row boats & canoes are free for your use. Rec Hall available for games, wifi is okay - but you're on vacation, spend time with your family!

we were very pleased with our stay and have already booked for next year. Great for kids. Yes a little on the old side, but certainly adequate, the prices are comparable for similar coveted areas, and being able to walk right onto the beach from the cabin is wonderful. The lake and beach are gorgeous and the amenities added by Shona and Gregor were perfect for the kids - the trampoline and slide right in the lake. They were also extremely kind and accommodated my mistake (we arrived a day early - oops on my part) with no penalty for leaving a day early also. I took a star off because as other reviews noted, the cabins could do with some updating - but then the prices would likely go up too! So I give 4.5 stars.
