Though it’s hard for me to take the UAP course at the beginning, I didn’t get good grades in the last term. However, my writing teacher Caren is strict but good. The papers, hand-outs and knowledge she taught me are useful until now. However, I felt nervous and afraid to ask questions and solve them immediately in the last term. However, experiencing the last failure, I didn’t give up. Before I was taking the online course, I feel afraid because I don’t know anything about the online course. I have lots of questions. How can I enter into an online course? Where is the button? How’s the teacher? What if I have some questions about my homework? We cannot like to go to the classroom every day before and solve the problem in a day.
Teachers are busy; they have lots of work to do. Every day they are staying in front of the computer to revising our assignment and type it and give feedback to us. It’s tough work. Consequently, I worry too much. Abbey and Dar will help you ASAP if you send an email to ask questions. I feel happy that I meet two excellent teachers. After teachers teach patiently and humanistic, I feel confident. Don’t feel shy and afraid to ask questions. That’s what I learnt. You may indeed encounter many technical issues and writing problems. Ask the tutor and teacher for help. They are very patient, and they will explain many times until you understand. Every week, we have office hours, and you can ask teacher questions face to face. Whatever you are confused with your comments from your teacher, just tell them. It’s an excellent experience for me to learn in the ELC centre. I know how to write a classification essay, argumentative essay, email, and quotations. These are all very useful when we are entering university. Before taking these courses, I was unknown. But now, I feel I am full of plentiful knowledge. Maybe it’s far enough for me. But still, remember, try your best, and you won’t regret it.

I was surprised that there was a lot of people who were so kind, thoughtful and considerate. I wanted to study more and more! I’d miss ELC absolutely! I’ll go there again, and I have to meet teachers and CA.
