Alpine Insulation

We are undergoing a full interior reno of our our home and were referred to Alpine. Work involved was complete interior insulation including all exterior walls, ceiling/attic, windows and doors, vapour barrier, floors and interior walls for sound, batted fibreglass, spray and blown in. They did it all.The crew was professional and polite. Mike was easy to work with and ensured all work was done on time and on budget. Office staff was also friendly and helpful.We highly recommend Alpine Insulation.

After getting bids from different insulation companies, I hired Alpine to upgrade the insulation in the attic of our 40 year old house. The job consisted of spraying an additional layer of fiberglass on top of the existing layer, and ensuring that there was adequate attic ventilation afterwards. When the crew arrived I confirmed the specifics of the job with them. A discussion with company staff, including the owner, provided helpful clarification about what would required to ensure adequate ventilation, after which the crew set to work. They completed the job in a few hours, and suggested I take a look - which, with their help, I did do. I was impressed with how thorough they were, and how uniform the application was. They also identified the "chutes" they had installed to ensure good ventilation, and I was pleased to notice, for myself, the cool air that was clearly moving through the space. I was very happy with the work of this fine crew.

Throughout this process, I was impressed with the company's knowledgeable staff, professionalism, and commitment to client satisfaction, and would recommend them to anyone who needs or wants insulation work done.

Over the past 5 years I've approached four different handymen to insulate my crawl space and all declined the job. The space is very cramped and involves climbing over large rocks. Alpine didn't hesitate to do the job and provided a quote that was half what a handyguy said an insulation company would charge.

Greg, the assessor, was very prompt in getting me a quote and responding to subsequent questions. Malcolm and Robert were incredibly fast getting the work done, despite the tight space and heavy rain which caused pools of water between the rocks. Hats off to all these men for their professionalism and excellent work. I also got them to do my attic. I've been in my house for 10 years and this is the first winter i'll be warm and cozy. I obtained three different quotes to have my attic insulation upgraded from R20 to R50. Alpine's quote was in the middle of the three, closer to the most competitive quote. However, I found this company easier to access and more responsive to my questions, so I hired them. They showed up on time, were polite, worked quickly and cleaned up well. The final invoice was consistent with the initial quote, which was also appreciated.

It's a bit hard to completely inspect their work but from what I can see it appears as though they did a reasonable and conscientious job. I'm looking forward to what will hopefully be a nice reduction in heating costs. I am pleased with my experience with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Haven't used their services but beyond impressed with the advice I was given. David emailed me back right away and gave me a very detailed and informative response. He really took the extra time to address everything and go into great detail. Most companies would give a short answer but he went above and beyond to address all my questions. Could only imagine their install service is equally as great.
