(April 10, 2023, 10:30 pm)Wow...best ice cream in Oak Bay and Victoria....I only live a block away and it's taken me this long to discover this little piece of heaven! My son dropped by and brought home their Lemon Graham Bar ice cream...it was like having a lemon pie, not too sweet, with the added crunch of the graham cracker bits! It's so delicious!! Now that I know they are too close, must try their ice cream sandwiches!

(October 24, 2022, 6:54 pm)I love this place. They have seasonal ice creams and usually at least 1 vegan option for folks who can’t do dairy. Two of my favourites so far have been the peach rosemary, and the pumpkin brittle. Also highly recommend getting a root beer float!

(August 30, 2022, 12:15 am)This ice cream is exceptional. I tried their peanut butter ice cream sandwich when they did not have their own store, and based on that sandwich, I fell in love. Not knowing they had opened a store, I was biking one day and unexpectedly saw their store - I literally screeched my brakes to a halt and yelled out in delight. I, of course, stopped in to grab an ice cream. I got a scoop of Thai Tea in a waffle cone and it was excellent. So freaking yummy. I can vouch for the high quality of 49 Below Ice Cream and I am beyond thrilled that they have their own shop now and I will 100% be going back.

(August 27, 2022, 10:31 pm)I got some Vegan blueberry rue barre ice cream. Never had this flavor before, it tasted very unique. It was homemade light and refreshing. I will definitely go back. Good price as well compared to some other places downtown. Thank you for having a vegan flavor ❤️❤️❤️
