  Hadn't been in about 2 years place is all new looks great. Food was good aswell. All new menu with a bunch of allergy friendly options like gluten free.

  Tried the 50/50 burger it was surprisingly good made with 50%
  Beef and 50%mushrooms shaped into two paddies on a bun with all the fixens. I highly recommend that for people trying to eat less meat without sacrificing the flavor.

  Original Joe's is a restaurant. The have a hostess pretty servers and a bunch of cooks.
  Most times you dont have to wait. But sometimes you do. Then they sit you down at a nice table and give you menus. On this menu they have all sorts of stuff to look at. Like beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. They have all sorts of appetizers ranging from spinach dip to wings. Then they have the regular main course menu that has all sorts of items. Like pastas, salads, pasta salads, burgers, sandwiches, to main courses like ribs and roast chicken. Then if you are still hungry they have a desert menu where you can order pies and cake.

  Great place, great atmosphere. Never too noisy but always busy. Some places just get so noisy with everyone talking to be heard over the others but this place has better acoustics so that doesn't happen.
  Great beers and great menu.
  I only drawback for young families is no kids menu but kids are welcome. My super picky 76 year old mom likes this place too.

Original Joe's Restaurant & Bar, Langford, Westshore ...

I don't tend to love chains but I think Original Joe's, especially this location, is great at what they do. I like the variety of food and I think the staff are nice and the value is good. One time we went and there was a server with a tray full of fishbowl blended cocktails and she accidentally dropped them all and they smashed.
