He made me realize the value of having a contractor to organize and oversee a big project. I have had him renovate my kitchen, renovate a bathroom, fix and level my sidewalk, replace a large window and refinish my main floor oak floors that had been covered with carpet. He's a good communicator who pays attention to the timeline so projects don't drag on.

(July 24, 2014, 6:31 am)My wife and I were very impressed with the work that was completed by Mr Bill Holmes and his sub-contractors. Our renovations were extensive and included the removal of kitchen and dining room walls, cupboards as well as dry walling a new ceiling. Of course in gutting our home there was extensive electrical work, some plumbing and a hot water tank that just happened to go in the middle of the reno. The real challenge was matching our hard wood floors from the dining room to make them flow into the kitchen.
Bill’s organizational and communication skills were evident in his ability to keep track of many tasks while keeping everyone up to date on the progress. Some changes were required from our original quote so paperwork was provided to ensure both sides were satisfied and there were no surprises at the end of the job for the additional costs.
Everyone that came to our home were solid workers and very reliable. His drywaller managed to match and refinish some textured walls for us, not to mention the great new ceiling through out our main floor. The two carpenters that finished our flooring and put in the ceiling crown molding were experts. The crown moulding around our fireplace was very complicated and finished to perfection.
After payment was made there was some warranty work, a faulty LED light from the manufacturer that was addressed immediately by his electrician, Trevor, a very nice young man.
It was a pleasure to deal with Bill Holmes and his staff. Judy and I highly recommend Better homes Renovation Specialist for others.
