This is a nicely decorated place within a beautiful surrounding, very quiet and relaxing. The host Georgina cares a lot about her guests and provides a generous and tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.

I stayed in the ultra tiny house containing just a bed and TV. It is perfect for the single traveler who craves minimalism. I do suggest you bring your own pillow because although there are a plethora to choose from none are satisfactory. The property is relaxing and also has an octagon rental called the star house which would be perfect for a couple. In the tiny house there is no adequate outside seating during the summer. It does have a plastic patio set but there is no cover or shade. There is a beautiful deck off the star house which overlooks the pond, the only place you can see it from. If you are opportunistic like me you can utilize it when the other guests are away or in-between guests. There is also a covered gazebo with BBQ but it is at the start house guests discretion wether you can use it or not (I think it should be common ground). If you are staying in the tiny house there is a common toilet inside the house you can use as well as a shower, sauna, and common area inside the main house. The decor is a bit hodge podge with not much matching but if you can look past this it's quite quaint. There are a lot of trinkets decorating the garden for you to peruse. You are likely to see deer and possibly a wild rabbit. The dogs do bark a bit and there was a scirching of something under my trailer in the night. I was a bit surprised at the amount of cars and makeshift storage buildings there were, but the hospitality more than made up for this. The hosts are very accommodating and the breakfast is just lovely. It was exactly the stress free escape I needed!

If you are in the Port Alberni area, I highly recommend spending a night or two at the StarHouse B&B. The area is beautiful and quaint, and the accommodations are comfortable and secluded. Georgina is a wonderful host, plus the breakfast is amazing! I've stayed at a lot of AirBnB's and this is the first one where I've been fed breakfast. Price was excellent for the accommodations. Can't wait to go back as it was a one of a kind experience!
