The people that work here are super friendly and the popcorn was great I'll be back again... oh and the prices were amazing zero complaints, please come support this Gem if you get a chance! Yes it's old but that's what makes the experience really neat. Thanks for the tour and maybe next time I'll get a chance to meet Ed!!

(February 8, 2020, 2:54 am)We've been wanting to see a show at the historic Empress Theatre for some time and were not disappointed. What an Alberta gem! The staff/volunteers were bend-over-backward friendly and helpful, and we loved the show, a tribute to Ian Tyson's music. I agree with a previous reviewer that the seats aren't very comfortable but I'm thinking they're a lot better than the samples of precious seats on display down in the green room. 😊 Even though the same show was playing in nearby Calgary, it was worth the 2-hour drive to see it at The Empress. We'll be back!
