I arrived at 3:56pm and they closed at 4.00pm. I was in town for work and thought I’d check out the museum to learn about the history of Taber. I was also hoping to grab a little gift for my SO while there too. The lady at the front greeted me and introduced me to the place. I noted that I realized they were only open for 4 more minutes, and she replied that it was perfectly fine for me to stay as long as I like, and she truly meant it, she wanted me to learn and was more than happy to show me around and teach me the basics of how Taber came to be. It was a super cool experience, and I’m glad I stopped in before heading back home!

I used to travel around Southern Alberta decades ago and my wife was curious about the area. So we decided to stop at the museum. She loved the info on irrigation, the crops grown (not just corn), etc. Also, appreciated the fact that the person in charge stayed well pass her lunch hour to answer questions and accommodate our visit.
