Working with Monica has been an absolute godsend !

Hubby and I started planning our destination wedding in Mexico in April 2021. We had absolutely no idea where to begin, thankfully we found Monica and she walked us through every step of the way. Her negotiating skills with vendors and just her all around knowledge of the industry helped to ensure we were getting the right prices and staying within our budget . We were originally hoping to get married on resort however the cost to do so was more then a wedding back home. Monica got us in touch with an off resort location which provided us with every single thing we wanted and we stay within our budget !

We would not have been able to plan our wedding without her. Her knowledge of local business and her connections ensured we got exactly what we paid for. Whenever I felt stressed or overwhelmed she helped ease my concerns.

Monica made planning our special day look effortless!! She's very knowledgeable in her field and is incredibly organized. We had to adapt multiple times to various covid measures and laws. She took the weight of the world off our shoulders during these unprecedented times and the final result was a day that we'll never forget. My husband mentioned to a friend our plans to do a destination and he recommended Monica as our wedding planner. Right away we reached out to her and received a very prompt and professional response.
Monica was very clear, knowledgeable, and organized with everything she sent us, so it was a no brainer- we had to hire her! She also has a very warm personality that makes you feel so comfortable working with her.

Immediately Monica sent a detailed questionnaire for me to fill out so she could get a good idea of who we are and the overall look we wanted for our wedding. Then we started looking for our destination.
We wanted to stay at a resort with our group but we wanted a ‘off resort’ wedding. I had a vision that I wanted and wasn’t willing to compromise it. Monica already knew of a lot of locations that were all beautiful, but one in particular had me sold! It was in Mexico so we picked a beautiful resort for all of us to stay at that was in driving distance to our venue. I really appreciated Monica’s patience in our process of choosing our venue and resort because it’s a big decision and it was scary to finalize with the unknown of the pandemic.

Monica set us up with a travel agent that she’s worked with a lot. So we had zoom calls with the two of them to go over resorts and flights. She helped us find what we were looking for and now that we had our date, resort, and venue booked, Monica sent us a planning schedule. Each month there was a small list of what we had to get done. In the beginning it was sourcing out all of our vendors.. food, decor, music, florals, etc. Monica was incredible with her communication. She would contact every company making sure to get quotes from all of them and helped us decide which company we would get the most value with.

Monica was sooooo amazing at keeping life organized. Her attention to detail can’t be beat! She had payment schedules for us to our vendors, had scheduled meetings with us to ensure we stayed on schedule, helped us make decisions that we were indecisive with, and also kept us calm when things got stressful with covid. Monica had a way of making us feel like we were her only clients because she was so on track and calm! Whenever I would start to feel panic, her enthusiasm and positivity would relax me immediately.

We had decided to get an on site coordinator at our venue so that everything ran smoothly, and Monica made sure that she knew everything there was to know. She set up zoom calls with the coordinator and myself and also provided her with documents of every detail imaginable.

Before my husband and I left to Mexico, we met up with Monica so she could give us big hugs, a thoughtful gift, and an organized booklet showing every detail of our wedding and ‘day of’ itinerary’s.
I can’t tell you how many people said it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to. The coordinator didn’t miss a beat thanks to Monica. She had her so prepared and organized that it was like Monica was there in someone else’s body lol. I owe it to Monica for helping me bring my vision to life and making everything run so smoothly. We could not have done this without her truly.

If you’re thinking of hiring a wedding planner.. HIRE MONICA! You’d be crazy not to.

Monica Caesar is simply the best. She helped us navigate the pandemic and plan and then re-plan 3 different weddings over 2 years in 3 different cities. We originally hired Monica for her destination wedding expertise (our first wedding was supposed to be in Cancun) and she helped us choose the perfect resort and travel package for our needs, providing expert advice on resorts we never would have known about. She had trained many of the staff at the resort we were hosting at, which was an added bonus as they gave us special attention. From her years in the industry, she always knew the right questions to ask and when, and what to expect of different vendors. She was able to easily deal with difficult vendors and always gave us her honest opinion on prices and value based on her industry knowledge. You will never meet someone more organized and detail oriented, nor someone who writes more professional and clear emails. She always had a huge amount of enthusiasm and energy, and always made us feel like we were her only clients. And...Monica even had an amazing way of making a 3 hour planning meeting be fun and effortless!

For the wedding celebration that we finally got to have, Monica helped us plan a wedding during COVID in less than 3 months, which consisted of 3 large separate events with 200+ people in Calgary, Alberta. She helped us navigate last minute (day before!!) pandemic restrictions with ease, even drafting us perfect emails to send to our guests and negotiating with our venues and vendors. Every single guest raved at how seamless and on-time our events were and that was 100% Monica’s doing. Our vendors also enjoyed working with her and praised her support throughout. Indian weddings are not simple nor basic - they are intricate with many customs and traditions, and Monica navigated these respectfully throughout. We had many family members' opinions on how our wedding should be over the 2 years of planning, but Monica always prioritized my husband and I’s best interests first. Many close family members and friends commented on how relaxed we both were in the weeks and days coming up to our wedding, and it was because we had Monica Caesar by our side every step of the way.

Monica is simply amazing as a wedding planner and same-day coordinator, but she doesn't stop there. She has been a confidante, a caring friend, and crutch we could lean on in our hardest times. Hire her!! You won’t be disappointed.
