Gone Wild Kennels

Gone Wild Kennels is fantastic, Our dog was well looked after and seemed to have become better behaved than when she went in. We also appreciated the regular Facebook posts with pictures of all the dogs playing together, this allowed us to see our dog while we were away and see that she was happy at the "Dog Spa"

We have our dog Django go to Gone Wild every Friday, Django loves his time with the other dogs and all of the green space afforded to them. We have been so happy with the entire experience. Dave manages the dogs incredibly well and the dogs completely respect him. The kennel and green spaces are in amazing condition and in a scenic and beautiful area of the foothills. Dave handles the dogs so well and we always feel comfortable knowing our furry family member is safe and getting in a lot of social time with other dogs. Dave has meet and greets with every dog/owner who is interested in having their dog come to stay or play; this is an excellent practice since he can assess the behaviors of the dog and ensure all dogs accepted are good natured. Since we have Django going every week we have noticed that his barking at passerby's in front of our house has decreased considerably. We have also noticed his interactions with dogs that are strangers has also improved considerably. We are so happy that we are able to send Django here. It is the ONLY place we would consider having Django stay overnight. We could not be happier and neither could our pup. It also doesn't hurt that Dave is warm and charismatic guy! Thank you Dave, we appreciate you!

Dave is incredible with his kennel! He is a master at what he does and you can tell how passionate he is running his kennel. We brought Rocko his first time in 2013 and then again last week (we never needed a kennel until now because we had family that could watch Rocko) and even after that long it was familiar and the care was no different - AMAZING!

We've been taking our dogs to Dave at Gone Wild for over 10 years. It was recommended to us by friends who drove from SW Calgary because it was the best. It still is the best kennel in the area and that is because of the care Dave puts into it.
The dogs get so much outside play time, I never feel guilty for leaving our girl.

We had our dog stay with Dave for 9 days over the Christmas holidays this year. We were so happy with the whole experience. Dave handles the dogs so well and keeps the facilities in beautiful condition. We were traveling internationally and didn't get our covid tests back in time and had to switch our flight. Dave gladly kept our dog another night and made us feel comfortable knowing he was safe. Since we had our dog stay with Dave he has completely stopped fence barking all together! We had been working diligently to correct this behavior but it never really clicked. After staying with Dave, and following all the other dogs examples, our dog will calmly watch other dogs pass our fence within a foot of him without a reaction. Thank you Dave!
