(August 31, 2022, 3:05 am)Darren will take you on a unique offroad adventure, including technical, crawling, climbing (cliff-side shelf roads may get your heart pounding), and designated water crossings. Tour 2022 took our group to glaciers and old mines.
It doesn't stop there. 2022 included an amazing meal prepared by Carlin Frimmel (more shrimp tacos please!), photography/UAV by Claudio Frimmel and Darren, a heli-tour and Darren graciously showed the group beautiful lakes for over-the-top photo-ops! I have given away too much already and you will see much more if you look for it.
We did this with a ground tent, a well insulated camp cooler, and NIL portable power (we don't have photo/video or drone equipment). Others brought small propane-type fire pits, which was nice to sit around in the evening. A RTT would have provided more options to camp as the terrain can be rocky, but it wasn't necessary. Darren was very helpful in sharing his expertise of equipment we may purchase in the future.
I would expect nothing less than a wait list in the coming years as this is beyond a 10/10 for experienced offroad enthusiasts. -

(August 30, 2022, 9:41 pm)This tour is probably the most breathtaking trip I've ever done. Well organized and planned. Trails and camp spots are amazing. You will have fun and you will learn a ton. We visited some amazing scenic spots that only a handful of people around BC know about, but also visited some of the world-known spots around Banff. Make sure your rig meets the requirements, you will not be able to make this in your Subaru Wilderness or stock truck...this is a proper 4x4 tour. Reach out to the team if you have questions about your rig and/or your experience off-roading. I myself can't wait to do again!
