(December 20, 2022, 10:51 pm)Very nice smoked meat sandwich interior (the meat/pickles/etc) - however rye bread was too soft and the soup was really bland and watery. But overall I’d have to say I enjoyed the sandwich. Nice staff and fun owner.

The owner stepped up to the front to help us when noticing that we were in line, very aware of the customer. The food was delicious and lots of tasty treat options. Looking forward to returning the next time we come through town! Thanks to the Guy's Cafe team for a great first experience!

What a treat to be back! It looks nearly the same as we left it 💜
Walked in and was promptly greeted with a smile and a warm greeting. The folks who work here make you feel right at home. Maybe they are the owners? I'd love to know!
We were assisted (upon request) with some menu suggestions. The staff helping us was so very knowledgeable and quickly got our lunch sorted for us. A loaded tuna melt and delicious vegetarian soup...I beleive it was tomato basil...YUM! Oh, we also enjoyed a LONDON FOG...yes, they have the best you'll ever taste (floral and delish) and an apple juice!
We dined outside this time around...they have ample seating along their restaurant, outside where you can enjoy the calm, fresh air!
You could tell that there were clearly regulars there meeting for coffee and just enjoying themselves. Definitely a place to come and meet friends, stay a chat over tea or catch a quick bite.
They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. Sweet treats and tasty drinks!
I'm not sure what draws me here more..the food or the people...both are fantastic!

Initial Review in 2020: As soon as we walked into this place, we knew it would be good. This place was fairly busy, a good indicator of good food!
Who I gather to be the owner took our order, he used both humour and kindness while taking our order and answering our questions.
They offer food for all dietary restrictions, so it is a good place to go with any group of people.
The prices are very good, seating options are plentiful and the food is delicious!
Even with the seemingly busy cafe, the wait for the food was minimal.
Would definitely go back again! -

I was craving a nice soup and sandwich and was pleased they had one of my favourite soup flavours - broccoli and cheddar. I ordered a bowl of it along with a full-sized turkey bacon club sandwich on Russian rye. The bread is some of the best I have ever had - perfectly soft and squishy, chock-full of flavour. I've found my new favourite lunch spot in town!
