Best thing I ever did for myself! I don’t know if I have the right words to describe the true experience. To say that it was life changing would be an understatement. What I can say is that I am truly HEALED. My life is forever changed for the better and I am eternally grateful for everything that I experienced! The location is beautiful, the hosts were wonderful, the food was fantastic and the coaches helped me to truly heal, grow and gave me the tools to continue this new path that I’m on, full of happiness and vigor! “Wellness Retreat” doesn’t even come close to describing it. If you are looking for an experience that goes way above and beyond and you are truly ready to change your life, bring an open mind, be prepared to have an absolute overhaul and just know that the person you are when you arrive is not going back home with you!

After 30 years of depression, anxiety, grief and guilt I finally broke down and started looking for a retreat of some sort to heal myself. I am an acute care nurse who recently “crashed and burned” as we come out of Covid. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the recent loss of my mom. Vita Wellness Retreat offers not just a traditional retreat but self development and assist with overcoming these feelings and past traumas. Traditional counseling and coping suggestions are not their vibe. Vita also offers complete privacy at a safe and private space in Bragg Creek. Meals as I requested from a menu were brought to me fresh each day for lunch and dinner. My breakfast was cooked fresh and hot each morning at my time requested by the proprietor in the main house. I had the privilege to stay in the private loft above the garage. A very spacious and private loft with en suite. No one bothered me or expected anything from me. I had the option of an outdoor fire and private sauna daily. Access to the river was right behind the main house. Much free time and anytime on Wifi.

Zen performed a Reiki session my first night of seven. She is a soft and kind practitioner who helped me relax and start to remove my negative energies. She taught me how Reiki works. Zen is a true soul to her occupation and talent.

Lesley, RMT offered me time, peace and space to relax and surrender during the two massages she offered. One of which was with aromatherapy. Lesley is very professional and has the softest hands.

Alana who practiced yoga with me twice is a sweet soul and very accommodating. I look forward to attending her yoga classes in Calgary.

I had a two hour session with Eric (psychotherapy counselor). He has the most soothing voice. Eric listened to my struggles and needs then offered me a session with ART. How interesting! I will refer back to this therapy to help with my troubling thoughts as they pop up.

Michelle L. was one of my coaches. She and I clicked right away. We are similar in age and have plenty in common. I felt like I was talking to a friend at some points. Michelle gets people and is a beautiful, uplifting, empathetic person. She made me feel good and want to pursue the things I have held myself back from doing. We had lunch and a walk together one day.

Tabitha was also one of my coaches. She has so much beauty, energy and experience. She truly believes in her craft and her clients. I felt very comfortable with her. She took me out for a walk, taught me to “let go” and we had a few lunches together.

These two women made me feel safe and accepted. Michelle and Tabitha taught me how to start accepting myself and how to let go of the past. These pieces will allow me to move forward and to be a better mother, partner, nurse and person all around. As a woman, I felt so cared for by other women and it felt amazing! I guess I was craving that.
The first four days I was exhausted and ready to go home to my family. However, on day five I was getting used to putting things into practice and felt I wished I had extended my stay. I plan to return for a tune-up in the future. I left the retreat not as the person I was when I arrived. I have the tools and confidence to move forward in life.

I am beyond grateful from the bottom of my heart for all of you at Vita Wellness Retreat. Thank you so much!

Vita Wellness Retreat was exactly what I needed to realize what was holding me back from living my life with purpose. Before coming to the retreat I was depressed and was holding onto so much negativity. My wellness coach, Assia, helped me reach deep with in myself, figuring out what was causing my issues. She helped me release all the negativity and helped me to see the "light" with in me. She gave me tools to help me go forward to live the life I am meant to live. This experience has taught me so much and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to rediscover themselves and to heal from within, Vita Wellness Retreat is the place to go.

I was going through a very difficult time in my life and I felt mentally broken. I was dealing with depression, anxiety and the loss of a loved one. I’ve been to retreats in the past but I heard some really amazing stories of total life transformation and healing that had happens at Vita wellness retreats by some friends and colleagues of mine, I knew this was something that I needed to try.
And I’m so glad I did, It was the absolute best investment I have ever made in my self. This retreat exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning, this retreat was tailored to exactly what I needed, every service, each individual person brought so much healing, understanding and purpose back into my life. I no longer suffer from depression and anxiety, I’ve moved on from a place of depression, anxiety and grief to ultimate joy and excitement with my passion for life back and energy restored. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure that I receive the highest level of care. I would highly recommend Vita wellness retreats.
