(December 31, 2021, 2:36 am)Since now seeing that someone else has posted the same issue 2 months ago, and nothing has changed, I feel compelled to write this. This is a health food store where vulnerable people often with health conditions buy vitamins and such to stay healthier. However on a number of occasions now, most recently right before Christmas at the height of surging covid cases, there were two shoppers, once again in the store unmasked. This is not the first time I have encountered this here. When I brought it up this time with the cashier and another employee she said the manager said they were not allowed to ask people to wear masks during the mask mandate as they feared people would become violent. Well I am sorry about that but I am pretty certain the two middle aged blonde cow girls that had no masks on while chatting small talk with the cashier and shopping around the store, and the lady with her two kids in tow looking at makeup and vitamins did not pose a threat of violence. I am guessing simply asking them to respect the mandate and other staff and customers or at least offering them a mask would have been sufficient, but this never happened. Nothing was said to them besides some small talk when they were ringing through their items. No efforts were made of any sort in respect to the other shoppers. I frequent this store a lot. I have attended private promotional functions here. I have spent many hundreds of dollars here over the years and ordered groceries via click and collect. I ordered my turkey through Nutters. I think a deeper look at your safety protocols at your HEALTH FOOD STORE need some further review.
