(February 18, 2021, 8:21 am)Our visit to St.Mary's church on Feb 7 was for the baptism of my grandson. With Covid she was only allowed 10 people so only immediate family and Godparents. Very strict with Covid practices and the church that just had mass was cleaned before we entered. Father was very kind even getting a wheelchair for mom as I was going to just sit her on her walker and push it.Covid is tough but grateful for their Covid guideline. Thank you St.Mary's

(July 31, 2019, 12:50 am)I was baptized, had my first communion, and was confirmed in this beautiful church, I went to the school next door, St. Thomas, I grew up just a 5 minute walk away... for some reason, 25 years later, I felt the need to search it on the web, and here she is, in all her beauty, and it brings tears to my eyes... so many memories.... what an amazing piece of history for me... makes me homesick... I always felt the lord by my side when I was at mass... I need to go back to Red Deer for nothing else, than to feel that once again...

(July 5, 2019, 1:05 am)I love the atmosphere! I don't like how as soon as the last song starts people mingle and chat it up. The people who like to stay til the Mass is over over like me find the atmosphere is wrecked. The prayerful atmosphere is lost. Respect the musicians who put their heart and soul into the music.
