(July 20, 2022, 10:48 pm)So the staff here are wonderful and super helpful… I guess for me I was disappointed because on the website it shows the dogs can go in and out of their enclosures but when I went I was told that they stay closed now because it heats up the building. When I was there it was sweltering in there, and much cooler outside… with that, I initially wasn’t concerned about the size of the pens because I’d thought my dogs would have windows of time where they could go in and out throughout the day at their leisure. Unfortunately, without that freedom I felt the pens were tight. Mind you, my dogs have a huge dog run, so my expectations are a bit high. Finally, and reluctantly I will say even though I understand it’s a dog kennel, it was pretty dirty… and both of my dogs came home sick one with a cough and the other with a green runny nose. I had seen other reviews saying this but they had been old and thought perhaps things had gotten better there. Anyways—it could be a one off.. it seems like a lot of people really enjoy bringing their dogs… my dogs seemed super happy and calm when they were picked up after a few days. I’m certain the care was there… I just think perhaps something needs to be done about the cleanliness and space… my dogs are young however, so it could be their immune systems are a little green.. My suggestion to anyone considering, maybe pop in for a visit to see if you feel comfortable with the set-up.
