Our family of four loved our stay at Skoki! It was a great adventure. Our kids (10 years old) were pushed a bit by the hike in and that added to the fun. The backcountry location and lodge feeling like it was so many years ago is awesome. The staff were great, as was the food!

Staff is great, especially Renee, Luc was also very kind. The lady chef’s food is top notch and good size.
The rooms are clean and cozy. Not that expensive (like other comments may point out) when considering that all the meals are Included!! (We had cheese charcuterie platter, duck and boeuf bourguignons, snacks, cookies, trail mix, amazing breakfast…
I hope to return sooner than later.

The scenery was spectacular. The staff were great, very helpful. The only disappointment was the meals. When paying premium dollars to stay and have the meals included, they were lacking in the sense that the portions were small. It felt that it was about profit over really giving people a great meal. One would think that a place that deals with hikers etc would make sure they were fed well. The food for the most part was great in flavour but portions were small. An example of a breakfast meal was 1egg,2 pcs bacon small bowl fruit and a small cinnamon roll. That was a snack for most of the guys. People are out hiking and burning calories and they’re being fed like it’s rations. Not expecting to be fed a supersized meal but definitely better than what was presented.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, giving us accurate directions to Packers Pass on the way out, and the beer was pretty reasonably priced considering it all comes in via either helicopter or horse.

Stop in if you're doing the Skoki Loop or staying in the Merlin Meadows Campground!

Absolutely wonderful. This place has magic and staying here, enjoying the scenery and delicious food/drink has been the nightlight of my trip. The staff provided incredible service -- clearly they want to share their love for Banff and Skoki with visitors and it made very thing more special.
