(January 28, 2023, 1:17 pm)Edward (Ned) Corbett was an innovator and pioneer in the field of adult education in Canada. He served as Banff Centre's first director from 1933-1936, notably starting the venture in tandem with the Great Depression.
His achievements, perseverance and charisma were recognized in 1972 with the naming of Corbett Hall in his honour, which later opened in May 1973.
