(February 18, 2022, 5:26 pm)Almost finished the polite paws course with my 6 month old schnauzer Louie...We had a lot of fun with Brittany and Jane, They love dogs and have so many good tips to help train our dogs. First week we mastered hand movements for sit and down. We kept practicing using a lot of treats. During the following weeks we practiced throwing treats on the floor to distract from barking and jumping up..We learned leave it and keep it...Last week we were dropping treats and keeping our dogs by our side while on leash. The course has taught me lots of techniques to help make Louie a better dog and me more patient. Thanks Connie and Louie
