(August 10, 2021, 2:04 am)Cannot say enough good words regarding the University Club and the level of service that they provide. I've attended several events and their restaurant many times, and the food and service has always been top notch. But when we asked them to host our wedding reception, they really went above and beyond to make our day special. The venue is so beautiful upstairs. The way the full windows treat you to the beautiful University grounds along with Edmonton's downtown skyline has an unparalleled beauty. But the way the club worked with us to cater our event, assisted us with decorations and chair covers, and worked closely with each of our vendors to ensure a perfect day was so special to us. Everything fell seamlessly into place and we couldn't be more grateful. The staff even stayed around until the end of the night to assist with taking off chair covers. If you're looking for a wedding reception that can still hold a decent size party while giving you that intimate feeling, this is the place for you.

(April 2, 2021, 2:49 pm)We enjoyed a safely distanced dinner with family, with 3 orders of the (huge and juicy) prime rib, and a delicious chicken burger (with avocado and bacon), pictured here with a spinach strawberry salad. The beer list was extensive (I chose a Guava Paradise Lost sour ale). Service was quick and friendly. We sat inside, but with the warmer weather, outside seating around fire pits is an option. The lost star was for the kind-of-comfortable chairs and dated decor. I don't know when it was last updated bit it could be brightened up a bit.
