(August 18, 2021, 12:29 am)I have always had a fantastic experience shopping here. They are so helpful and will answer all your questions about winemaking with endless patience. Such a godsend! Plus I had to grab something and wasn't going to make it before they closed. Called them in a panic and they were so gracious and stayed open for an extra 10 min! Great wine supply store but even better humans!

Some areas that could stand improvement are liquid yeast selection for brewing, and having more size options for buying grain.
Would like to see some white labs yeasts if possible, and a greater range of the wyeast products. edit: they offer special order for escarpment labs yeast, and they'll also get wyeast on special order I'd you ask. Done this a few times and it's great!
Regarding grains, currently one can only buy 1 kg bags of most malts, with the next size up being the 20 kg sacks. However, they do have Red Shed Maltings products in 5 kg bags which is nice. Would like to see more of this if possible. Buying multiple 1 kg bags with no price break is a little frustrating.
Otherwise this is the place to go if you're a homebrewer in Edmonton.
