(September 22, 2019, 2:25 am)Clean and well-maintained day use and camping area with boat launches. Friendly, helpful staff at the registration office with boat rentals and life jackets available to borrow. Great place to spend the day from Calgary, boating, fishing, or just being by the water!

(August 30, 2019, 12:44 pm)I'm going to update my review. After launching my boat here I have a totally new perspective on Ghost Lake. It's GREAT! If you don't have a boat it's not much fun. The "beaches" have no sand and the outhouses are gross. But if you have a boat, the launch and docks are great. The lake is on the small side but it's usable. We had a lot of fun here.

(August 18, 2019, 3:32 pm)Water level is above normal now and a new boat launch they put in is 110% better ,boaters can now launch at very low water levels .They paved the parking lot and put in new toilets but cut the day use area down to very small space. The boat launch and the parking I give five star rate. There's still camping available but it is across the highway at the ghost Recreation which is privately owned.

(August 5, 2019, 3:48 am)Very busy, but nice boat launch with lots of room to allow multiple launches and retrieval at the same time. Several small beaches around the launch and down the side. Public pit toilets available but need more regular maintenance.

(July 8, 2019, 4:27 am)While the area is mostly a boat launch for Ghost Lake, I frequent this area in the evening when I need somewhere out of the city to sit, look at the mountains, and relax for a while. I'm rarely there at prime time, so it's rarely busy. I always find it peaceful and relaxing.
The only addition I'd like to see are picnic tables along the edge of the lake. I'd love to take a picnic dinner once in a while
