(July 1, 2019, 4:10 am)This place is amazing! I ordered the ribs, and my husband ordered the Rib Eye steak. The ribs were so tender the meat fell off the bone, and my husband was very impressed with the steak. We both got the twice baked potato, and that is a must. Very good service, and food. Highly recommend.

(May 30, 2019, 12:17 am)This is one of the best steak restaurants in the beef capital of Canada. I have never had a bad food or service experience there. And if their operations manager is there, the famous "Tell them Joe sent you" from all those radio commercials, then you have to say hello. He's a friendly guy!
We go there for birthdays and other special occasions but even for business meetings. Absolutely fabulous place. -

(May 23, 2019, 6:04 am)Had dinner with my husband Friday, May 16 in the dining room. Nicole was our server and she was one of the best servers we ever had. Very attentive but not over the top. I would give her an A+ for service. Our dinner and drinks were absolutely perfect. Desert was sinfully delicious. Great experience as always at The Cattle Baron. Manager is on top of it!!!! Bravo!!!

(May 7, 2019, 9:42 pm)This an average place. The menu can be misleading. For example they have “fresh” salmon on the menu, when you ask about it it turns out it arrives frozen. At least they are honest I guess. Over all this place is not representative of beef in Alberta but many reviewers claim that it is. Other chain restaurants serve better steaks. This is a place to eat steak that might be the best in the area but that’s about it. To be clear it’s not horrible, but it’s not 4 or 5 stars, it’s a solid and true 3.
