This store is awesome and run by the sweetest woman. We’ve come by here pretty often since we bought a house and there’s always something that catches our eye. Recently bought two daybed/sofas from here, and Laura stepped us through reupholstering, some wood replacement, and even have some recommendations on the legs. She’s passionate, accommodating and just a pleasure to be around.
One of my favorite stores ever. The owner is amazing and has been very generous with her time, educating me on mid century topics. If you love mcm furniture, glass,lights, and other cool things from this period, a visit to the store is a must. I have bought numerous items and have always been very happy with my purchases. Words won’t do this place justice, swing by and see it for yourself.
This store is an absolute *must visit* for any fan of mid century modern furniture and collectibles!!! It is chock full of MCM deliciousness, and even if you walk through the place 20 times, you will STILL discover something new with each pass. I came here a couple of times during an extended stay in Calgary, and simply loved it (I ended up buying the cutest swivel/rocking chair, a sunburst clock + sconces, and a handful of other items). Laura (the owner) is super cool, very knowledgeable regarding MCM, and is a delightful person to converse with. I cannot wait to visit this little gem of a store next time I'm in Calgary.
I have been here a few times and love it. Great selection and the owner is knowledgeable and genuine. I love everything that I bought here. I would also like to say that I am saddened by the fat shaming of one of the other reviewers. Not cool.
