Great school...great teachers that have dedication and respect for our children. Needs a facelift on the exterior
We moved our grade 1er from a CBE to this school mid semester and it was the best choice we've ever made. He went to a top private school for JK and K (BC) and we found similarities in how this school is very community-focused, with small class sizes (no splits) and a good after school program run by Mount Royal University. Teachers are approachable and academically inclined, and there is more technology in classrooms (mathletics, lexia). There is a morning prayer over the PA and the admin announces kids who exemplified school values over the course of the day in the afternoon announcements - which I love. Lots of sports in PE vs CBE "games and tags" for younger ages. (Not just for budding hockey players! Class ratio is even boys:girls.)
