  This is not your typical bar food. The chef is a Red Seal Chef. Should I say any more? I shouldn’t but I can’t resist because the food here is amazing. And if you love Filipino food they even have a couple of dishes on the menu.
  
  The staff are friendly and the bartender has been with the restaurant for 15 years. So has the chef. Says something about the management.

  Great service. We especially liked the raised "mezzanine" area with the booth seating. Great for private parties without 100% privacy. Great space to mingle and move around.
  
  Haven't tried the food but it looked good. They have veggie stir fry and a veggie burger option, not sure if these options are also vegan friendly.

  Really great neighborhood pub, with a comfortable relaxed atmosphere that I will certainly visit again. Service is always very friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Looking forward to trying some of their vegan options in the future.

  Best bar in the city! Great staff, great food! Ainsley is the best bartender I’ve ever had, always smiling and always get my drinks and food super quick.

  This was my first visit to Austin's and it won't be my last. The staff were super knowledgeable and accommodating to my dietary restrictions (vegan). While I wasn't much of a fan of mango chutney and haven't tried it much elsewhere before, my dish was delicious and I will try it again. The outside of the bar looks like any neighbourhood pub but the inside is pretty dang sharp and the photos from Calgary's sporting past are a nice touch.
