  I love the new face of Harvey's Pass where the weir used to be, and apparently a lot of avid kayak enthusiasts do as well. It was wonderful to picnic there and walk along the river watching the kayaks! Always a beautiful and enjoyable daytime getaway.

  Calgary is a beautiful and modern City placed at the junction of the Great Plains and the Foothills of the Rocky mountains. A mountain fed river splits around the downtown core into the Bow and Elbow rivers; Pearce Estate park makes awesome use of this river -the city has developed a kayaking/rapids playground for all ages and abilities: It's super fun to float down with a quality life jacket, water shoes and some Kevlar gloves. This feels like what western Canada is about.

  Such a beautiful park! Lots of hidden spots, bridges, paths. Visit the fish hatchery while you are there! So worth the visit.
  The recent addition of rejuvenated Harvey's passage is a gem and getting very popular with the locals. Canoe down, kayak, float or just wear a life jacket and let the stream carry you. So fun.

  Beautiful park with great walking trails. Can get a bit mosquito-y but that's to be expected. A bit of construction happening at the time of this review but doesn't cause too many problems. Has a nice playground along with places to explore and look out over the river. Lovely spot for a walk on a nice day with a decent amount of parking space.
