Beautifully kept community garden, walking path, playground, and friendly off-leash dog walking area... The community gardeners here do such an incredible job with the amazing collection of plants and flowers. We love spending an afternoon in the garden!

Very pretty and well kept! A nice place to take a family or just to see what's there. Lots of different things to see!

Nice park for a walk. Gardens are dormant in April but lots of benches to rest and enjoy the sun. Not crowded but always occupied

BP Birthplace Forest is located in the community of Silver Springs, in the Northwest quadrant of Calgary.

The Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs is a volunteer operated community garden project in the park. Admission is free, although donations are appreciated. Open throughout the year, the gardens are best appreciated from June to mid-September.

BP Birthplace Forest is popular with local dog owners, and is a designated off-leash area.
