  That veggie ramen ???? I could eat this EVERY DAY! So warm and creamy with the basil tomatoes and crispy lotus. Add extra noodles for no charge and you’ve got the perfect winter lunch. Follow with an afternoon nap.

  Really delicious, authentic Japanese ramen! Glad to have found the place - a real treat knowing that there is something this good in the NE. I love that they have the option of thick or thin noodles, fatty or lean pork and choice of veggies just like you would find in Japan.

  This is absolutely authentic, owned and cooked by a Japanese Chef and he loves what he does. The staff is super friendly and will walk through you on how to order, go through your preferences and make sure you’re well taken care of. I recommend adding the Chicken Karage which is a Japanese fried chicken and you will not be disappointed!! When the owners and chef take pride in their preparation and process, it comes through in the quality and taste of the finished dish, thank you for bringing authentic Japanese ramen to Calgary in the NE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  Crazy good ramen! Better hurry though! They sometimes run out of soup around 6:30, depending on how busy it gets. I can see why though. Their soups is amazing!

Been wanting to try Ramen Ichinen for a while now and so happy we finally did today! I had the red tokatsu ramen (red=spicy as per waitress) and my fiancé had the dry ramen. The spicy level wasn't spicy at all for me (I like spicy food though) however, they have an option to add levels of spice for extra $.
