(June 2, 2019, 5:08 pm)Food was quite good. Started with the beef samosas which were of the crispy kind you get in Karachi versus the Punjabi Top Hats that are most popular in Calgary. The samosas were very tasty but I wish the ground beef was more spicy as it would have been more authentic. Tasted like it was made for Canadians.
We also had the Chicken Biryani which was moist but didn’t have the traditional Biryani essence. Was still very tasty. And how can you go to a place that is Pakistani and not try the Nihari. It was very good as well. Very tasty.
Disappointed with the Naans as they are not made in a Tandoor. Though the owner said they would have a tandoor in 2 months. I guess I will be back then. -
