I can't say enough good things about Dr. Jerry and the staff at Dalhousie Family Chiropractic!!

I starting going about a month ago with pain in my shoulder and upper back that was keeping me up at night and limiting my activities at the gym and with my daughter. The first visit was easy to book and, thanks to Alicia, I knew exactly what to expect. During the consultation Mackenzie helped me with my scans and answered my many questions before, during and after them. Like his staff, Dr. Jerry is knowledgeable, informative and kind. He explained thoroughly, listened patiently and showed a genuine interest and desire to help me feel better now and in the future.

I have gone for one adjustment a week since the beginning of May and have already noticed a significant improvement in my upper back and have absolutely no pain in my shoulder any more! Furthermore, after discussions with Dr. Jerry about correct posture, I find myself more mindful of how I sit at my desk all day and how I carry myself through workouts at the gym which has diminished the frequency of a sore back after a long day and eliminated pain at the gym from poor form.

I will continue to get regular adjustments, plan to bring my daughter for adjustments as well and will, without a doubt, recommend Dr. Jerry and Dalhousie Family Chiropractic to all my friends and family!

I am seeing Dr. Jerry Smuszko for low back scoliosis and have been in for nearly 20 adjustments now. I am noticing changes in my posture and huge improvements with associated discomfort. I am hoping to see physical changes with the next X-Ray, but regardless am happy I have found something that manages my symptoms.

This was my first chiropractor care experience, and it has been overall positive. I have found the clinic very warm and staff are inviting. I am pleased with Jerry’s efforts to teach clients about their spine health and nervous system. I have previously worked at a functional medical clinic, and have seen the benefits of integrative health care now from either end of care. As a studying MSc neuroscientist, I am intrigued with how spinal misalignments can interfere with the communication between the CNS (brain and spinal cord) and the rest of the body. I am a big proponent of living your healthiest lifestyle and am passionate about alternative non-pharmaceutical solutions.

Lastly, I’d like to thank Jerry for his understanding. I was initially wary about having my neck adjusted and Jerry immediately respected this by avoiding my cervical spine while still assessing it, relieving pressure points, and lightly tapping areas to ensure I was still getting the best treatment. After 12 adjustments, I now feel comfortable enough to get my neck adjusted. Jerry is excellent at meeting clients where they are, and will not push you past your limits.

Dr. Jerry got me from months of constant pain to getting out of bed feeling like a normal human who can walk her dog and go to work on the same day, and its only been a few weeks! Brilliant! :-D

I was very impressed with Dr. Jerry service. He took the time to educate me on how chiropractic work and whats involved. He is sincere and very much concerned with your progress, within an 8 day period of treatment I found that my tingling arm and finger, neck, hips, and lower back were decreased from the pain I was gong through. Now I sleep better and have less headache and my neck doesn't wobble like before. The staffs are amazing.
