  The staff at the store were great! They knew exactly what I was looking for when I asked, and they had an OK selection, but needle felting isn't a very popular crafting hobby. The store has a very different selection than the store in Medicine Hat. I always enjoy venturing to the big city and checking out the stores we don't have in our small city. Michael's never fails to impress, so I will certainly be retuning at a later date, to do more shopping for my crafting needs!!

  It is may be on of the biggest, with a lot of variety of materials I have been in Calgary. It is located same parking lot: Bank, Superstore + only woman GoodLife , Winners, restaurants, Liqueur Store, gaz station, dentist, Pet Store .... If you are around good for it they always have sale after Christmas, Easter, Halloween. A lot of nice stuff to decorate your house or get inspired!

  I love the selection at Michael's but often, it seems that there are many items that you are not searching for. The items I seek often end up being found and purchased elsewhere. Prices are also hit and miss with some items being very reasonably priced when others are priced well above average.

  Great little store, but I find their regular prices tend to be inflated, so their sales actually are not all they're cracked up to be. From a service perspective, the Country Hills store is great. Lots of bleary-eyed Mama's just doing their own thing, and helpful staff if you need help, but otherwise they don't bug you.

  The best part about Michaels is that they always seem to have a sale on exactly what you’re looking for. Went into see about some custom framing, then found out I could get something very similar and have it the same day for half the cost. Had a couple of great employees help me out and were able to get me out the door in a decent time at a very good price
