  Address for EconoLodge and Hamptons inn is same, don't be confused. Good service, nice staff, ample parking. It is near to University and Foothills hospital. Accessible from Crowchild Trail and 16 Ave (Trans-Canada hwy) means located close to highway. If you want to have check out 6-7 motels are located in one row.

  Was fairly clean and updated. Has underground parade but little room for chartered buses to park in. Breakfasts were great with a good variety. Disappointed that only 1 elevator was working and stair access was a no unless going down, to keep street people out.

  From check in to check out the service was exemplary. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were very spacious and well appointed. Updated plugs and light bases provided for a variety of charger locations for the electronics. Room was clean and quiet and we very much enjoyed our stay. The pool and the hot tub areas appeared to be clean and was well organized. Good job Hampton.

  Excellent quality of the room on first impression. Really enjoy everything about the room, feels very comfortable. Exercise room and pool areas very clean and inviting.

O n my second night in Alberta, I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites By Hilton Calgary — University Northwest hotel property, as it was located literally meters north of Trans-Canada Highway 1 in Calgary — where it is not a limited access highway — for fairly easy access to head towards Banff.
