The UPS Store

Not a bad store, but I ordered live sea food and they charge an extra 5 dollars to pick up at store. Should have been told upfront.

I ordered something from Amazon and gave a PO Box #, not realizing UPS does not deliver to PO boxes. In this time of State of Emergency, I got a text from UPS saying that my order was undeliverable. After many days of trying fruitlessly to get through by phone, I called UPS Store in Airdrie and asked if there was any way they could get a different address to UPS for me. GP (or DP??) was so helpful, said that he would try and would get back to me. And he did, saying that everything should be okay now. It was an item that might help get me through self-isolation while keeping my sanity, and I can't thank UPS Store enough for helping me, even when I'm sure he's got more than his share of problems right now.

The staff and the manager was super friendly and very understanding. I had 2 incidence that I tried to mail the important document to China. I tried Canada Post first. even though the staff in the post office are very nice and polite but not only they have so many restrictions and they can not guarantee the delivery time and they are way more expensive and they have operation down time from time to time. also if I sent as priority mail if they are unable to deliver to the person I will get forced to charge the return shipping which close to $100.00 but when I went into the UPS store, they were polite and answer all my question and concerned and they gave me an educated suggestion not only I have my important document delivered on time and earlier than the priority shipping in Canada post but also It is cheaper. I understand that for some people, this operation time is not very convenient. But in my case, today I arrived the office 3 minutes after they closed down the shop , the manager still came to the door greeted me. I was totally prepared that I will have to come back the next day but he welcomed me into the store after he heard what I want to do and still take his time to answer all my questions like the normal business hours. and their price still cheaper than Canada post. I am sooooo grateful and impressed for their caring nature and I felt I have to tell everyone about it! I will for sure recommend everyone I know in town. if you have important document need to sent overseas and you want to get it to the destination fast and secure, this store is your best choice !
