Mio Stone Grill and Sushi

I love ordering from here! After recently discovering that I am gluten intolerant, I was hesitant to try another Japanese restaurant, but I'm glad I did! I called the restaurant to check out some gluten free options and recieved some information that may be helpful to others. You can order almost anything and ask for it gluten free. This means anything breaded and fried will just be steamed. I had gotten the chicken yakitori gluten free which just means no sauce. It was not very flavorful, but I was provided with gluten free soy sauce, so that helped! I also really miss eating California rolls, as imitation crab has gluten in it. Mio has the option for REAL crab California rolls which were exceptional! Unfortunately the soups and sauces are not gluten free. I would love to see these guys make a statement by creating a gluten free tempura and having gluten free sauces! *hint, hint* Thanks Mio! Today's food was awesome!

The staff are so sweet, and the prices are really good. It’s our family’s go-to sushi place in airdrie. I’ve never been disappointed!

Wow!! The food is AMAZING, with a great price point. The service is wonderful, friendly, and energetic. We went there a second time the very next day and brought more family to try it. This is going to be a place we go to regularly! Excellent, professional, family run restaurant.

Great Japanese restaurant. The food tastes fresh, and great,and was arranged very nicely. The restaurant is very clean, and the seats are very comfortable in the booths. The staff are very friendly, and helpful, and the food came pretty quickly. Great place to eat.

We loved our experience here. The staff are simply exemplary with their service and speed. The kitchen is fast and efficient with delivery, the food is extraordinary. Very simple and delicious Japanese dishes and sushi. I would recommend a visit to the restaurant for any occasion as the atmosphere is family and formal in a nice balance.
