Wonderful hostess in a prairie oasis and she makes the best coffee to go with the large cinnamon buns!

We had a very relaxing stay here! The hostess was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Her house is very lovely and the acreage is nice – you can eat outside on the patio by the kitchen, go paddle boating on the pond, or go for a walk around and take in the countryside. It’s only a 35 min drive from Drumheller – definitely worth staying here even though it’s a bit out of the way! There are two big but super friendly dogs here too.

We stayed in the King Room With Spa Bath – it’s an amazing room! Definitely worth the money. The jet tub is awesome and the reclining couch in the living area of your room is super comfy. We also enjoyed the plush bath robes and how quiet it was. Free Wi-Fi too! And of course, breakfast was great and we loved that we could choose the time we ate (at other B&Bs we’ve been to, there was a set time).

The only cons to the King Room were that you couldn’t lock the door to your room. (Not that I don’t trust the host, but it was a bit weird.)
The bathroom door is also unable to fully close as the house had shifted so the door rubbed on the doorframe (didn’t want to try to force it and not be able to get out of the bathroom). The only other downside was that the private patio for the King Room was under construction, so we could not sit there. (But like I said, there was another patio.)

This place still gets 5 stars though because of everything I mentioned before! This is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed at. A gem in the badlands!

Fantastic rooms and beds. House is gorgeous. The hostess is friendly but provides privacy. The food is so delicious she is an amazing cook and baker. We will be returning as soon as possible. Should have stayed longer.

Peaceful setting, spacious home, delicious breakfast, very welcoming and accomodating hosts, great country getaway. Second visit here, and we will be returning.
