(September 3, 2020, 9:14 pm)Besides the hike up to elbow lake, the hike to the tombstone lake campground is flat and easy with great views of the valley. The campground is nice itself, it has gravel plots for tents, however the gravel is quite uncomfortable and it would probably be better with just grass.

(July 6, 2020, 3:19 pm)Excellent trail for leg day! Not too busy, well used so no overgrowth. Steep ascending trail from the parking lot. This would be a very difficult trail for anyone not in full control of thier lower limbs. There are no rope aids for any section. Kids n dogs are certainly able to get around, horses are also on this trail.. Which would be an option for anyone challenged with lower limb control.
