(July 18, 2019, 11:33 pm)So I went in to Maximum Mobility today; to get a new phone as I had been off contract for a couple of years and I had finally broken my old phone enough to need a new one.
They had a good selection of phones and cases, and when I walked in the door, I was immediately greeted by a cheerful sales representative. I knew what phone I wanted more or less so he didn't really have to sell me on a phone or anything like that, but Telus has made a number of changes to the way their phone contracts work since the last time I signed a phone contract. Colby was very thorough at explaining all the changes, how the new phone financing worked, and all the available options to me.
So we started to set up my new phone, and we found that it was a brick. DOA if you will. So Colby set about finding out what my options were and in the end, he drove to Maximum Mobility's other location and picked up a working version of the phone.
He went above and beyond my expectations for service, and I would like to heartily thank him for that.
I will be back for all my cellphone needs.
