Thought it was a hippie shack at first impressions but give it a try.
The pizza thin crust artisanal pizza with some of the best cappuccinos in town.
I loved it and would go reccomend it for anyone.
The best thing about this Cafe is you don't need to pay the zoo admission to visit it. I bought breakfast here before my zoo visit and I'll definitely be going back. I had the veggie breakfast wrap with a coffee and my friend had a sausage roll. Great food and coffee at a very reasonable price.
Really cute place, just outside of the Edmonton Zoo! You don't have to pay to go to the zoo in order to go here, which is so nice! My fiance and I will come grab a coffee before heading to the dog park which is convenient because it's right next door! They have a good amount of drinks, albeit you're not going to be getting a classic 'latte' or 'espresso' here, it's a lot of syrup etc, but it's still really yummy. Any of their hot drinks they can make cold which is awesome in summer, you'd be surprised at the amount of places that can't do that!
For everyone saying it's expensive, I agree the food is a bit pricey, but the drinks are way cheaper than other popular places like Remedy. We can usually get out of there for under $9 with an iced coffee and and iced mochachino which is better than lots of places. While the staff might be a bit slow sometimes, they've always been very pleasant and do the best they can when it's busy! It's a cute place with yummy baked goods that you should be sure to go to, even if you're not going to the zoo! :)
